PRESENT LILIANA BENVENISTE IN «ENKANTES SEFARADIES»
«Enkantes Sefaradies» is a musical show with a repertoire that evokes the Sephardic songs in its various styles and characteristics. The show includes popular songs of the Sephardic tradition and also contemporary compositions in Ladino and other languages used by the Sephardic people in the Mediterranean countries, Morocco, Turkey, Greece and other Balkan countries. In addition to traditional and contemporary compositions in Ladino, the show includes tangos and songs of the national Argentine folklore, translated to Ladino. A fascinating vision about the Diaspora Judeo-Spanish, a tour of a culture that has its roots in Spain, the Mediterranean and the Middle East. An event with the personal and dynamic style of Liliana. Liliana was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, besides her singing abilities she is a composer on her own right and an a professor on Informatics.
